Friday night two of our workers was taking a client home. While they were driving the client was looking through everything in the back seat and found a can. He started fiddling with it and talking about it so the worker turned around in his seat and the client pulled the trigger on the spray. Less then a foot away this poor college student gets the full affect of bear spray in his face. Luckily they had already stopped the car before this happened. So the worker fiddled for the door handle and was able to crawl out and rub his face in the grass. They got the client home and since I had already closed up work they had to drive clear to Rexburg before they could wash his eyes out. He's doing great now and no harm was done, but he learned to always clean out the car before taking a child with disabilities in it.
Work is a new adventure everyday. It keeps it interesting
