Memorial Day Weekend
We had such a fun time this past weekend in Jackson Hole. My family came up and rented out a condo, in which we spent most of our time since it snowed and rained the whole time. But it was still a blast.
Me and my little sister
Brad and I (mostly me) wanted to go on the Tram that takes you clear to the top of the mountain. We woke up the morning we were going to go, and it was SNOWING!! Bummer!! You couldn't see anything and it was all foggy. Brad said he'll take me this summer sometime when the weather is supposed to be good :)
So we spent the day in downtown Jackson. After walking around the shops we went and got old fashion photos taken. Those dresses smelled like BO so bad. I was having a really hard time not gagging! I had to keep stopping myself from thinking about all the yucky sweaty bodies that have been in these dresses....YUCK!!!! Ok, enough about that. Here's the pictures we took:
At the condo: We played games, watched movies, made yummy food (it was real nice having a full kitchen that we could make all of our meals instead of going out every night)and we roasted marshmallows. Here's the story of roasting marshmallows. So none of us brought sticks to roast marshmallows so Nicole, Brad, and I decided to endure the cold and go for a walk to find tree branches that we could make into roasters. We found a good patch of trees
While Brad was cutting a branch off, Nicole started looking for other branches we heard something drop. We figured it was just water falling off of the trees since it had just rained, but Nicole looked over her shoulder and found this:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA that drop we heard was bird poo landing on Nicole's nice white coat. It was hilarious. We were all rolling with laughter.
Here are some more pictures of our walk to find the sticks
And finally we got to eat S'MORES
The last day of our trip we went to Jenny's Lake just to go I guess. It was snowing really hard and it was really cold. You couldn't even see the lake it was so foggy. But we did see a moose and a bald eagle.
We look so cold. Oh, that's right because it was!!!!
It was a really fun weekend none the less. We had a great time with my family and it was good to have a little mini vacation.

I'm sooooo jealous that you got to go to Jackson Hole. We love it there. That tram that takes you to the top of the mountain is the one Jake and I took up and where Jake proposed. It was snowy and foggy that day too so we didn't get to see the valley, but it was still fun. Glad you had a good time!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your pictures and stories. Looks like you all had a fun time. Love ya! Aunt Lu
