Well we just finished Day 1 of renovating the Kid's center. We are in for a tough weekend. We started taking the wood paneling down and we found about 4 different problems.
1. 2 layers of wood paneling and under that was awful looking sheet rock
2. One wall after we took down some wood paneling, we found that the wall was made up of a bunch of little sheet rock pieces pieced together
3. One wall we discovered a huge 3 feet x 3 feet size hole.. So we made a window with it so now I can see out of my office into the main room
4. We discovered that there was part of the wall that was only framed and that they just put the wood paneling over it so that they didn't have to sheet rock it and finish the wall. What a nightmare
So needless to say we are on like plan H... I just hope it will all come together and look good when all is said and done
